Are you a seeker? Are you looking for a place to find answers about true Christianity? We want to help. In fact, we believe that if you even have a curiosity, God is already working on you. We are told that we can do nothing (even inquiring into God's existence) without his strengthening. (John 15:5). But God will lead you to Him in His time. He says, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13). We all welcome you to Faith!
Maybe you are not starting from scratch in your search. Maybe you have some Christian background. Perhaps you went to church as a child but have not lately. Perhaps someone did something to you so that you could not bring yourself to go back to church. Perhaps your own guilt over something is keeping you away. Maybe you are so appalled by what you hear and see on TV about some Christians so that you wonder why you would want to be a part of that.
Well, regardless of your circumstances, you are not alone here in Huntsville, Texas or beyond. Our people at our church have had the same experiences and frustrations that you share. But here at Faith Lutheran Church we have found God and He shows himself to us through His Word. Our effort is to avoid preaching and teaching anything other than what God reveals specifically to us in His Word. We have found the central message to be that, no matter who you are or what you have done, God loves you. He loved so much that He gave us His Son to die on the cross and to rise again to forgive all of our sins!
